The franchise industry is full of events throughout the year. Many of these events are specific and focused on a particular area or topic; others are more broad, and of course, most brands have their own conferences to bring their owners and people together. As this year starts, I thought I'd touch on the first three events I'm planning to attend this first quarter.
Let's Grow by the Franchise Assembly
First in February is a brand new conference organized by the Franchise Assembly. The event is called Let's Grow and runs from February 4th through the 6th in Dallas, Texas. This event is focused on franchise development education, and will include a variety of speakers, workshops, and masterminds. I'm participating with ZorForum, a sponsor of the event. I'll be hosting a mastermind workshop on Sunday with about a dozen C-level franchisor executives. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to share a ZorForum meeting experience with them. IFA Annual Convention
The next event in February is the IFA Annual Convention, which will be held in Phoenix from February 17th through the 20th. This is the “Super Bowl” of franchising - a very big event covering every angle and aspect of franchising. I've written about this before, and this year I expect the event will be even bigger and better. This year, I'm bringing along my oldest daughter, Lilly, for the first day, and we are participating in the women's leadership program on Saturday. Multi-Unit Franchising Conference
The third franchise industry event I’m attending this year is the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference in March. This is a great event and growing. This event provides a vibrant atmosphere with active participation from franchisees and brands eagerly seeking to expand their franchise opportunities among the attendees. The speakers are impressive, and the workshops and panels are all good. This event has been growing and improving for many years - and they always seem to get better. Participating in franchise industry events has been a long-standing passion of mine, one that I have indulged in for many years. The joy of reuniting with old friends and the excitement of meeting new individuals within the industry never fails to invigorate me. Each event is full of knowledge and inspiration, allowing me to constantly learn and grow. Sharing ideas and networking with like-minded professionals is fun and enjoyable and also a valuable opportunity for collaboration and innovation. The franchising industry is big, growing, dynamic, and evolving. It's great to see the continued growth and enthusiasm that is involved at every level. Fun to be part of it!
