Having spent decades in the franchise industry - including as a franchisee for many different brands - I have identified clear patterns that almost all franchisees go through. In my experience, as well as from what I’ve seen with other franchisees, the process of growing a new business isn’t so different from our own real-life individual human development. With the exception of a lucky few, we’ve all had our growing pains, awkward years and rough times. And just like in real life, sometimes it can seem as if we’re the only ones struggling.
